Snake Eyes
2/21/2006- Ok, so Snake Eyes is new to the ATX (June 2005), but the word about their awesome shows have spread throughout Texas. I have had many shops mention them as being the "real deal". They have a good selection of records, but it doesn't stop there. They have really great shows! Some of my friends played there (the teddy pentagrams) and the "feel" of the place rocked, very low key, yet high energy. If you are into having a good time looking at records or want to hear something live that is new and fresh make sure you drop by Snake Eyes. Like many of the other shops I will try my best to make it over there and get some photos of the place and maybe some words of wisdom.
2/22/2006- Ok so here are some pics of the place, Rebecca the owner was super excited about the site and let me take lots of photo's. The shop seems to be slowly going through a transformation from startup to "here until death!". Snakes Eyes has a very authentic feel, if you are really into the indie scene it is a must see!

They hae some really coo pics on the wall. |
Ahhh... the record selection... to say the least I was very impressed. They had so many good records I just had to stop looking due to the fact that I would have spent hundreds! |

The shop is owned and run by Rebecca Hubinsky, she is very nice and helpful and definetly a big support of the indie scene! |
