Shattered Music

6/22/2006- I have been meaning to post about Shattered Music closing, however all is ok, because it has been bought up by someone, for whom I still need to go meet, and vinyl can still be found at this exact location! I will post more soon.

2/27/2006- A lot of people had been talking to me about Shattered Music, so I have decided to add them. Last time I was there, it was huge, had a lot of expensive records and seemed a little impersonal. Well all that has changed!!! This place got back to the roots of indendent record shops and rocking it Austin style. I am going to go by again sometime soon and take some pics.

3/24/2006- So I made my way over to Shattered Music and got some pictures in:) They said SXSW was great and that they had lots of people drop by. I picked up some Stevie Wonder and a Spinal Tap promotional album (of course with a black cover, sweet...). Anyway, one thing I did notice about their place is that it is hard to find the first time so I made sure to take extra pics on how to find it. Hope you enjoy!

So this is looking South towards Congress.	Shattered music is on the back of this building, so take Milton west and you will see it a sign for it...
If you look really really close you can see the sign at the end of the building (ok, maybe not on this picture, but you can see it on the next)	Here is the sign to lead you towards the right way...
So head around the building...	To your left (east) there is a ramp with a gate, go throught that gate...
Here's the gate...	Look to your left and you will see the door, yah!!!
Of course they have the shirts...	And some cool stencil art!
