Backspin Records

1/23/2006- Backspin Records has moved! They are about 2 miles from their old location, over by Airport and IH35.

3/26/2006- So Dan (at End of an Ear) told me I have to hit this place up, they carry lots of used records with genre ranging from hip-hop to punk rock. I talked to Zach, co-owner and am going to try and stop by the shop ASAP (aka probably Wednesday). Until then here are their stats:

3/28/2006- Aite, so I made it out to Backspin Records, I know I have said this a lot, but man, these guys rock. I know you all are probably thinking I am just being nice saying that all these shops rock, but honest, all of these shops are in it for the right reason and have an attitude to back it up. Backspin is no exception, the heart and sweat put into their shop shows, Customers were there talking, I was there annoying... it was great! I picked up some Dead Pres and a Hip Hop Comp that Zach recommended I check out. I also got some pics as you can see below. This place is a must stop if you are in Austin.

Ok, I admit it, I forgot to take a picture of the outside of Backside... The place is pretty easy to find, it really is at the corner of North Loop and Burnet in a little strip center.	Weak picture, but it does let you know that Backspin is right across from CVS.
Here is the front desk, to the right they have a VPI machine that they can use to clean your records.	Nice BoomBox!
Gota have the promos!	Here is Zach mixing it up at the counter, they have a sound system for playing records, as well as listening stations, I have to say I liked what I heard!
