Audio Systems
2/22/2006- Audio Systems, like Whetstone and Concert Sound are all about the music! These guys have been around for quite sometime (circa 1988), helping people put to have great music reproduction in their homes. When I was a freshman in college I would go by this shop all the time and they were always super friendly and never gave me a hard time for browsing. This is also where my wife bought her first pair of speakers (then she was my girlfriend), some PSB Alpha's. Mark Lyon owns this shop and to say that he is enthusiastic about hifi would be understatement, and his supporting team is top notch! I will try and post more pics as soon as I make my way over there..

The front room has some serious hifi, like Magnaplaners and Martin Logan loudspeakers, you have to hear these! |
oh and they have nice comfortable seats to boot! |

Think tubes are expensive??? Make sure you go to Audio Systems, you might be suprised how reasonable they can be! |

Then again Magnaplaners and Tubes is nice... Mark and the gang are more then happy to tell teach you about all the stuff they sell and in a most friendly way! |
Audio Systems is a great shop and a must see if you are in the Austin Area for any reason. |
